NEW GENERATION

India's population rose to 1.21 billion people over the last 10 years -- an increase of 181 million, according to the new census released on Thursday. Significantly, the population growth is slower for the first time in nine decades.

India, which accounts for world's 17.5 per cent population, comprises 623.7 million males and 586.5 million females, said a provisional 2011 Census report.

China is the most populous nation, accounting for 19.4 per cent of the global population.

The country's headcount is almost equal to the combined population of the United States, Indonesia, Brazil, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Japan put together, it said.

(I have received a comment on my article on Indian cricket by a young reader whose view points are totally different from mine. Please read it . I think he is right to some extent. That's what i called ruined meaning there by they are most concerned about what they are and what they have achieved, but those numbers a very few if you see the total population of 120 crores/12 billion. The plus point of growth in India is population growth of minority community.Time will tell if these three things(cinema+cricket+Clatter) are really doing good to our new generation.)

Why do you think the young mass is ruined... if India has hope it is due to our young masses who now run big companies across the globe, made us a IT superpower, tend to fields and made us a dominant supplier of world's sugar, milk ... mining largest iron ore.. Building a formidable financial powerhouse... fighting the wars with the same courage as our seniors, putting us on the fore front of pharmacy R&D ... actually when we look.. it is the generation above us which faltered.. Who gave us the bureaucratic government, lazy babus in government.. We are going to make it better and we need some cricket to relax.. the fact that we watch so much cricket makes BCCI the most powerful body in cricket who can go and punch the Australian’s for trying to be too smart and the for that matter we can go and do anything we like.. And I am fine with it.. Being powerful is better than being equal when it comes to economy or sports

HARASSMENT AFTER DEATH

HARASSMENT AFTER DEATH:
This one is written by a doctor & hospital authority who feels helpless at times after the death of a young person due to road accident or suicide.
Imagine a case of RTA (road traffic accident) ,where the victim is a young student from an engineering college, after staying for a couple of weeks in a hospital for head injury and multiple bone fractures dies at 15hours.As per rule the police has to be informed, as all RTA cases are medico legal. The doctor or the authority can not hand over the body to the relative or party with out police permission.
Some miscreants now take advantage of the situation and try to earn few bucks or tarnish the image of the hospital. News papers give head lines as “doctor did not release dead body due to non payment” to gain public sympathy, but seldom they cross check with the police why the body was not released. With money being every thing in this world the hospital authority are also to be blamed for their giddy attitude and at times behaving like a mafia.
An out dated rule still exists in India for the common man (not for VIPs or Politicians), that postmortem can not be conducted after sun set. Hence police does not come to take the body and the authority can not release the body, here the situation becomes explosive at times. Every body thinks the body is not released due to non payment which is not a fact. Even if the dues have been cleared the authority can hand over the body to police only not the relatives. They go on breaking the hospital property, cause harassment to other patients and create an ugly scene in front of the hospital; police does not come in time to take control of the situation unless that hospital is in good book of police.
Next day police may appear after10am (if there is no cricket match or VIP visit) and take the body to the postmortem center at party’s cost. There the doctor and his or her helper (usually a drunkard)has to be paid some fixed amount or else there may be further delay last but not the least the doctor will not mention the cause of death(reserve after organ analysis reports) further delay in insurance claim.
This is a common occurrence in all big or small cities and is a very important issue but yet to be solved. When a game of cricket can be played at the middle of night why can’t postmortem be done at any time of the day? Why a particular doctor? Why not all be trained to do postmortem examination by the government. If surgery can be done by mobile advice and audio visual methods why not postmortem?
1: All suicide cases who survive should not be a victim of police. No medico legal case for attempted suicide- as the rule exists in some states of India, why can’t it be uniform?
2: Let postmortem be done at any time of the day or night.
3: The dead Body to be released as soon as possible to the police.
4: Let the postmortem cost be legal and a receipt should be given for insurance claim and reimbursable.
5: Let there be NGO body to take care of all these formality and hand over the ashes to the bereaved family the next day.
6: Let there be transparency in every stage.
As more than few lakhs people die in India due to accidents at home and outside (medico legal) this problem should be sorted out sooner than later..

WORKING BEYOND 65

This is a common dilemma with all human beings, When not to work?
This depends on attitude.
Majority want to go on earning with out realizing that sudden death kills 1.5 lakhs of people a year in the world. Why for one should work?If he or she has zero bank balance, no source of income from property or with out work the house will not run.In some situations the children do not want to help the father nor the father d wants to beg to his children.
Some say why are you wasting your talent staying at home?Where was the talent for last 65 or more years?
With so much of problems like transport, accidents, high hospital bills, rise in price of common commodities some people justify in working even up to the age of80 just to show off that he is fit and can work. With so much of unemployment in the country is it justified to work beyond65 years of age?
Those unfortunate people who do not have any hobbies nor they love any one except self get bored at home and go out with running shoes to the office from 9to5 six days a week. They do not have time to talk to self nor they have the habit of reading books or watching national geography or cricket or football match but majority show off that they are expert in cricket(all Indians are expert in cricket from Shopkeepers to bus drivers).
People spend hours talking with their children over internet(Connection money donated by son or daughter at times son in law)may twice a day to much annoyance of the son or his wife.
Coming to the topic of working beyond 65 is like a double edged sword. If you work, you get exhausted and die early or if you do not work people make a laughing stock of you.
Those who have liability and no work will make them sick it's their choice whether to work or not.
But if some one is not enjoying his or her job or getting snubbed by the authority still then wants to work then unless there is compulsion one should think twice before continuing such jobs.If you are not contributing to the organization then one should not take salary in such case.
To conclude writers, singers, artists, creative people, those contribute to society are the person who should continue as long as they can, but not physically sick doctors or engineers or teachers, or bus drivers or hugged looking hero should try to contribute from their savings(if they have) to the needy ones and stop working at others cost..
No age is a bar for a new hobby.

TOURIST SPOTS OF INDIA

IF you are interested to know true India travel by road or train. This Gigantic statue of Lord Sive can be seen as you come out after a holy bath at Haridwar.People go to see statue of Liberty at USA, similarly we have many statues from politicians to Bulls in India, but this one is that of Lord Siva. This is a holy place visited by millions of people both Indian and foreigners throughout the year but maximum during the Siva Ratri time.
The other photo is that of a hanging bridge at Rishkesh. Both these places can be visited by car or taxi or bus from Delhi.Food is good mostly vegetarian(do not ask for non veg food here), the best time to visit these places is colder months from November to March.People use their blog for self promotion which is sad and does not solve the purpose of this nice thing called blog spot. Thanks for viewing my blog and giving me encouragement, you can make it as the best.Tell more of your friends they may be interested to see India. It's unfortunate that very few young generation of people from other countries come to visit India.
As you proceed towards the queen of hills you can have a glimpse of these historic places.

UNSUNG HERO

Dr.SUBRAMANIAM SWAMY PhD.was born in 1939, in a Hindu family in India, a genius and a gentle man.He is the unsung hero for the year 2010-11.But for him the 2G scam would not have been known to people. In the year 2008 November Dr.Swamy wrote to PM (Manmohan Singh) about Mr. Raja and 2G but people told him that he was a cynic and Swamy kept quiet.People should give him due credit for his untiring effort to expose corruptions in India from Bofors to 2G.If some one deserve to get Bharat Ratna it should be Dr.Subramaniam Swamy and no one else.

LONGEST EVENT

WHY THIS LENGTHY WORLD CUP CRICKET?
Total fourteen teams are participating in this World Cup Cricket, out of which six are out before the tournament has started (thanks to the new format). We are left with four from each group which comes to eight. The matches are held in three countries still then you find one match a day or maximum two if minnows are playing.
This is sheer nuisance. If you think the ICC runs the game you are totally mistaken.ICC is in the hands of BCCI/Business house/fixers, which runs the show. It’s a huge gambling period of seven weeks for the gamblers. The TV channel, match fixers, organizers, business house, sponsors actually decide the fixtures from that the word ball fixing, pad fixing or catch fixing is derived. You have been told earlier and now again repeating the same—put your money on India.
The commentators are actually not required with the big screen replays; in fact most of the real cricket lovers put their TV in silent mode while watching a match where India is playing. One is more of a coach commentator, what OZ and Eng commentators speaks majority of Indian TV viewers do not under stand, Crazy fellow is a joker commentator, pucker face is a beginner hanging on to his job because of his connection, there are few ladies in the commentator box, (curtsy womanizer) with bare bodies who try to tell you the difference between balls and bells. If there is pin drop silence it means a four or a six by the other team or an Indian wicket has fallen on the contrary if there is a bursting of a firecracker or a huge uproar means a six or a wicket is taken by an Indian bowlers-what a patriotism??
It’s true that some one told decade’s back-“played by 22 fools, supervised by two fools and watched by twenty thousand fools” but he was wrong-now its played by 22 billionaires(mostly), supervised by two millionaires and watched by twenty two billion(fools) people bring their countries to a stand still. It’s no more a fool’s game it was a game of kings and queen now it the same in different names.
Real spectators are dead long back that used to under stand the game and follow it too. True to Asian spirit we behave improperly be it talking over phones, driving a vehicle, crossing the railway lines or traffic we have no concern for others. Matches are tied knowingly or unknowingly I do not know, other wise crores of rupees will be destroyed by the public if a particular team gets defeated. If same day three or four matches were being held then the tournament would have been over in ten days time but hold on how our big boss of cricket will benefit from that??
All things have a positive and negative aspect; we talked about t negative side of this game now we see the brighter side. It’s a boon for the retired persons who wait eagerly for the month to end, those physically invalid people who can’t move out of there house, house wives, shop keepers, patients who can’t move out of bed and the list goes on and on. This is the only game with so much of technicalities, rules, laws and bylaws. In foot ball or hockey there is only one event, that’s goal but in cricket so many things can happen-from hat trick to brilliant catch. The biggest beneficiaries are the business men to small venders. A country where electricity is so scarce that power cut is part of our life- goes for day night matches just because sponsors want it. If a match involving our home team is played at 0230 hours in the morning still then our stadiums would be full to capacity in this cricket crazy nation. Every one blames for the British Raj but the Raj still remains and will remind us that they still rule India in a different way.
