Generic vs Brand names

Generic VS Brand products: The debate
Of late one Hindi film star is interfering with the medical law and ethical issues, as if there are no rules or regulation in this country called India. He himself takes three crores (30million rupees) per episode where he acts nicely to impress the viewers.
Suppose you go to a departmental store and picks up unbranded soap or a beauty cream which is slightly cheaper than the branded one, which one you will purchase? Whether you purchase a packet written washing powder, in another it’s written Ariel washing powder (which is of tested quality by you), naturally you go for Ariel. Exactly same holds true for medicines in India, where quality control takes a back seat, spurious drugs are everywhere and no government agency to take any preventive or curative measures. One thing we should remember that the same multinationals sell their product at a much higher rate in USA and UK than in India as the production cost is much less in India. These film stars and sports persons take huge amount for the advertisements, once that’s stopped the price of branded products will also come down. Will they do it for the good of the people of India?? No never.
A medicine firm spends billion for a new medicine to come to the counter, there are so many hurdles on the way when the new product has to be taken off and millions go through the drain. The world revolves around money hence how a medicine company, who spends a huge amount for a new product, will not like to earn a little profit out of it? Whereas Indian copy masters will produce the same generic product at a much cheaper price because they have neither spent money nor resources for the new brand.
What this film star is doing is playing to the gallery and being projected as messiah of poor people. He is trading in to a dangerous zone.He tried his hand objeting to a dam project, then with Anna Hazare for anti corruption.Let him first donate all his earning towards renovation of all the health centers in Bihar and UP and stop taking money from multinationals for the advertisements of soft drinks. Let the film stars, players & models be paid as per a new guidelines to be formulated by a board of directors but not as per their whims and tantrums. If the film stars can trade in to other’s zone then a time will come when public will decide their worth.

FOOTBALL

This is what we need to make football interesting? Like IPL-Cheer Girls and their bottom up? :Forget the boring games and the endless ties. The real attraction at this year's Copa America is off the field - specifically the breathtaking beauties that are invading stadiums across the host nation of Argentina.

What would a high-profile soccer tournament be without Paraguayan super fan Larissa Riquelme, who shot to fame during the 2010 World Cup by displaying her enormous ... support for her national team.

FOOTBALL WORLD CUP:

One has to wait for some years for European // world cup football tournament. Lots of efforts, strategy, planning, physical training, and money go in to it. Some teams return very happy, others happy, some gets dejected and a few grumble after the tournament is over. Lastly after few years it will surface that such and such teams were involved in match fixing.
I do not like this game, because there is only one important event and that is a goal. Twenty two players run after a ball as if their life depends on it and the end result is 0=0, extra fifteen minutes still then the same score and the referee ask for penalty shoot out. You wait for four years to see this!! Then why not have a tournament of twenty minutes duration with out off side rules!!
The ball is kicked out of play for safety once a team is leading and few minutes are left for the game.. The police traffic card system, as if criminals are playing and that nauseating background noise (whether it true or fake I do not know), some say it’s a ruffian’s game. After going through this write up people will think this fellow is a freak one.
My point is if one has to wait for a tournament for four years then one day extra should be reserved or play to finish should be the rule no penalty shoot out.
The rule of the game should change, like first 30 minutes eleven players, next fifteen minutes nine players for each team. After the break six a side tills the end of ninety minutes. During extra time there will be no goal keeper. Most of the dull games are those between two teams of equal strength.
Let’s give it a try. There is a great amount of media hype and craziness of football fans just to show he or she loves the game.
The game is thrust up on the people to say this is the best sport event of the world.
No doubt this is a fast and exciting game but with out imagination. Let the show go on with some modification.

This is a bizarre idea presentation.

GOLDEN DEER

THE MYSTRY OF GOLD

When some one goes beyond control then it’s very difficult to bring it back in the right path. See for example a drug addict, a gambler and a womanizer seldom transform them selves with out a strong set back. Similarly the Indian society has become a gold addict like the other three which I have mentioned. Gold is a dead investment for a common man. It only helps the chain snatchers, dacoits, smugglers, burglars, people with black money and last but not the least the jewelry shops all over India. Seldom has the gold come in to use for a real cause. The mother keeps it for her daughter or bahu and the cycle goes on until it’s loses its glitter and a new set is purchased in return of the old one (real gold). Then the standard deduction of 10% to 20% depending on the shop or brand .It seems the gold price has touched 28thousand rupees, may be they are targeting 50000 by year end to complete the year2012.
Why can’t all of the middle class Indians unite and stop purchasing gold ornaments for one year. No one is going to die if he or she does not wear gold!!  Of late most of the love marriages are inter caste, very few are arranged marriages, between working 33+ males and a woman of similar age, so I do not know why the lady has to wear so much gold ornaments during the function and then keeps it in bank locker for years. It’s up to them to say no to sex before marriage and no to gold after marriage.
With availability of so many varieties of imitation ornaments I do not think any one can make out if it’s real or fake. It depends on who is wears it. Suppose Katrina wears a fake diamond necklace, every one will say its real one but if my wife wears a real one, all will say it’s fake, including me.
I appeal to all the ladies not to purchase any gold for the next part of 2012-13 and see what happens. The bridegrooms too should request their in-laws not to give any gold ornaments as dowry/ or gift... I am yet to meet a widow who sells her gold ornaments for her children’s education or paying back the debts of her husband. She will prefer to go for another partner instead of breaking her gold ornaments (if she is young)
Remember a newly wed lady is in danger of rape and snatching of gold ornaments or even murder. With lots of drug addicts in society one should be careful of the gold ornaments; better invest in some thing different. Purchasing gold for bank lockers is most idiotic way of saving money for the future.
But like the “GOLDEN DEER” which resulted in kidnapping of SITA by Ravana, the present society is running after gold and property as if they will carry it with them after their death. Materialist pleasure is temporary one should remember that.
See what has happened to India’s economy, with highest gold reserve in the world in our banks, temples and in the form of black money what is the use of that gold?
As long as India’s economy depends on international PETROL, GOLD &DOLLAR values I do not see a bright future for our country. Of late multiple companies have with drawn their money from India -Why? Due to our faulty economic policy and bizarre liberalization, S&P has given a warning to our economists?

(Standard & Poor's warns India of a downgrade to junk category

Making a pointed observation on Prime Minister Manmohan Singh's government S&P said, "It would be ironic if a government under the economist who spurred much of the liberalization of India's economy and helped unleash such gains were to preside over their potential erosion" )

Thanks for reading.

A SHORT STORY

     BEHIND THE VEIL:

“Why don’t you keep a “Khurda Gamucha” or a “Mask “in your bag for emergency use”. Suggested Indrani why going through the pages of Orissa Post.
“But why, should I?’ asked Doctor Sujit.
“You are working in a vurnalable area like hospital and at any time one may lodge a complaint with clause 364(out rage of modesty) and 376(attempt to rape) and you will be arrested by the police, may get a bail or not is different issue but by next day all the news paper will publish your photograph and all your reputation will go through the drain.”
“Yes, you are right Indrani; this has never struck to me. Now days hardly you see any criminals with out a face   ‘mask’ or ‘Khurda Gamucha’, as if it’s supplied by the police or the criminals carry it all the time. It’s not a bad idea to wear it all the time because you never know when my lady staffs in hospital and female patients will lodge a complaint with the police with the above clause to take revenge on me under instigation of a fellow colleague?”
So the next day   Dr.Sujit put on the mask but was stopped at zero tolerance zones by the traffic constable.
Doctor asked him “what’s the matter?”
“You look like a terrorist, meet the higher officer.”
Dr.Sujit showed his identity card to the officer in charge, he was aghast to know that the person whom he is cross examining is a famous doctor working in a corporate hospital.
“You may arrest me under many clauses as this is a zero tolerance zone, you see.” The doctor told him.
“But sir, you must not wear this as no traffic constable has the guts to arrest you” was his quick and sharp reply.
“But I will keep this for an emergency use in case? You never know!”
The officer had a hearty laughter and asked the veiled doctor to proceed.

WHO WILL BELL THE CAT?

WE NEED A CHANGE IN INDIA:
1. No Tenure / No Pension.
Parliamentarians collect a salary while in office but should not receive any pay when they're out of office.

2.  Parliamentarians should purchase their own retirement plans, just as all Indians do.

3. Parliamentarians should no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Their pay should be linked to the CPI or 3%, whichever is lower.

4. Parliamentarians should lose their current health care system and participate in the same health care system as the Indian people.

5. Parliamentarians should equally abide by all laws they impose on the Indian people.

6. All contracts with past and present Parliamentarians should be void effective 1/1/12.
The Indian people did not make this contract with them.  Parliamentarians made all these contracts for themselves.

Serving in Parliament is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.

EXPLOITING PEOPLE

Those who have some observation power can make out how our celebrities exploit the sentiments and perversion of  their fans.Majority of them do not spend a single pie from their pocket but auction their used articles or play some festival match or some sort of stage show or musical concerts to collect money for some cause.Recently in India and also abroad this fashion of purchasing used articles of film stars or singers or sport persons is on the rise, why? do you know?
This is a sexual perversion called Fetishism.Males are mostly pervert, unless the person has a strong will he will deteriorate further. Two things in life can easily be controlled but no one tries seriously, they are urge to have sex and food all the time. With more knowledge people are not able to get rid of this animal in stint. The other form of sexual perversions are written below.

For example, quite recently the well-known Dutch minister Hans Visser wrote in a national newspaper that certain forms of pedophile activities should be tolerated (Trouw, 29 August 1996)

Sexual perversions are conditions in which sexual excitement or orgasm is associated with acts or imagery that are considered unusual within the culture. To avoid problems associated with the stigmatization of labels, the neutral term paraphilia, derived from Greek roots meaning "alongside of" and "love," is used to describe what used to be called sexual perversions. A paraphilia is a condition in which a person's sexual arousal and gratification depend on a fantasy theme of an unusual situation or object that becomes the principal focus of sexual behavior.

Paraphilias include fantasies, behaviors, and/or urges which:
  • involve nonhuman sexual objects, such as shoes or undergarments
  • require the suffering or humiliation of oneself or partner
  • involve children or other non-consenting partners
The most common paraphilias are:
  • exhibitionism, or exposure of the genitals
  • fetishism, or the use of nonliving objects
  • frotteurism, or touching and rubbing against a no consenting person
  • pedophilia, or the focus on prepubescent children
  • sexual masochism, or the receiving of humiliation or suffering
  • sexual sadism, or the inflicting of humiliation or suffering
  • transvestite fetishism, or cross-dressing
  • voyeurism, or watching others engage in undressing or sexual activity

The following are situations or causes that might lead someone in a paraphiliac direction:
  • parents who humiliate and punish a small boy for strutting around with an erect penis
  • a young boy who is sexually abused
  • an individual who is dressed in a woman's clothes as a form of parental punishment
  • fear of sexual performance or intimacy
  • inadequate counseling
  • excessive alcohol intake
  • physiological problems
  • sociocultural factors
  • psycho sexual trauma
  •
  • To conclude: Society is getting perverted so also our ministers and law makers, hence a time will come when sodomy, male marriage, homosexuality, lesbianism ,bestiality, exhibitionism and other forms of perverted sex will be allowed.
